NYC POPXLOVE RECAP

FINALLY, after a month I'm getting to share these pictures from the Pursuit of Portraits POPXLOVE meetup. I have a love/hate relationship with photography meetups; but, I always find that the reason I keep coming out is I love getting to see all the people I interact with within the community on social media in real life. This meetup, while I was FREEZING the whole time, was no different. Keep reading for my little recap and for some of my favorite shots of the day!

I was looking forward to this meet up so much because whenever Pursuit of Portraits hosts a meet up, most people will come out for it lol. Like I mentioned, it's a great chance for me to meet people for the first time in real life, connect with more photographers and models, and also hang out with my friends in the community. This time around, I came prepared like a ~mEETuP Pro~ and brought some changes of outfits. I ended up only getting to show off two (which was just my shirt and then a sweater layered on top) because it was SO COLD. I already get chilly easily, and this was just brutal. I'm not sure how I lasted all those hours outside in the middle of Central Park, but somehow it happened (although I did get sick afterwards for the next 2.5 weeks).

Anyway, one of the best parts of a meet up is of course getting to see all the photos people send over after! The hashtag for this meet up is #POPXLOVE. Below I'm sharing some of my favorite pictures from all the photographers who worked with me that day and were kind enough to edit/send over pictures. Thank you to all of you!! I'm listing each photographers username above the photo they took, and you can click each one to be brought to their Instagram gallery : )
